Notes on the dynasonde soundings on this disk (DVDLR003)
--------------------------------------------------------
LR is Longyearbyen, on Svalbard. The soundings come from the
ex Halley Bay (Antarctica) sounder which was donated to EISCAT
in 2007/2008.

This disk contains mainly the archiveable .B_G soundings
and perhaps a few other types.

Notes specific to this disk:

A replacement of the preamp on the west antenna at 13:30 UT on 19 February 2011, 
which had been there since installation in 2008, resulted in a major
improvement of sounding quality.
