Notes on the dynasonde soundings on this disk (DVDLR007)

LR is Longyearbyen, on Svalbard. The soundings come from the
ex Halley Bay (Antarctica) sounder which was donated to EISCAT
in 2007/2008.

This disk contains mainly the archiveable .B_G soundings
and perhaps a few other types.

May-June 2015
Some unreliability in the receiver system means that rather few good
ionogrammes were recorded in May-June 2015, maybe even in April 2015.
The sounder was finally switched off on 5 June 2015.
