20130718 -------- The XP computer stopped at about 12:49 UT. It turned out it was the Dynasonde rack power. Possibly temp too high ? 20130804 -------- Turned on the rack power using Sentry about 20:04 UT The DOS PC seems to have a bad battery. The DOS clock was still on 18 July, about an hour or less advanced from the time the computers had stopped in July. Soundings LR457063.B_G to LR457242.B_G have the wrong date and time therefore. The sounding labelled as 20130718, 13:20 (LR457063.B_G) was recorded on 04 August 2013 at about 20:34 UT. Temp in container was 16 or 26 C from memory. 20130805 -------- 05 August 2013, 13:00:00 sounding has the right time. The DOS PC now gets the date and time from SOUNDERXP (=DYNA) using the c:/net net time command whenever it is rebooted. SounderXP gets its time from the internet time servers using AboutTime. Noticed Temp in container (Sentry environmental monitors) at 13:16 UT 29.5 C & 22% humidity 13:24 UT 30.0 C 13:37 30.0 C 13:48 30.5 C & 21 % 14:03 29.5 C & 22% 14:27 29.5 C & 22% 15:00 29.5 C & 22% 20130806 -------- 08:01 UT 29.0 C & 21% 08:44 UT 29.5 C & 21% 09:48 29.5 C & 21% 11:55 29.5 C & 21% 12:16 29.5 C & 20% 13:08 29.5 C & 21% 13:46 30.0 C & 20% 15:31 29.5 & 20% 20130807 -------- 06:55 28.5 C & 21% 08:25 28.5 C & 21% 09:34 29.0 C & 21% 12:22 29.0 C & 21% 13:20 29.5 C & 21% 15:25 30.0 C & 21% 20130812, 12:20 UT ------------------ Sounder stopped. Apparently a short power break (according to Lisa). No access to Sentry internet switch or XP PC. 20130820 -------- Espen went to container and found Dyn rack off, needed resetting, and the network needed resetting. Power supply to DOS PC monitor also failed. Sounder running again, 2min soundings. The centre antenna had fallen down. They put it up again in a provisional way. One dipole is somewhat bent.
